He is a despicable antagonist for most of the readers. The truth is, that while I defend him as an antagonist, I actually dislike him. I do not sympathize with him. He is a true villain. Villains are people we are supposed to hate and Hody is probably one of the most hated characters of the franchise.
And that is what makes him successful. Oh and I forgot. You are commenting using your WordPress. You are commenting using your Google account. You are commenting using your Twitter account. He states Hody is a monster born from their environment. He states the officers are all the same and how they are just monsters born of hatred born from their ancestors and they fear their hatred will fade one day and so will their hatred towards humans and want them to be evil to justify their actions not even wanting peace for Fish-Men.
He recalls what he asked what Humans did to Hody and Hody answers "nothing" and that they've been chosen by the heavens to punish humans and granted power. He goes on to state that their hatred is not from beliefs or experience but they are nothing but empty opponents. At that time, Hody laughs maniacally and with blood-shot eyes he charges at Luffy and Shirahoshi.
Sanji and Jinbe continue to attack Wadatsumi and hurt him. Angry, Wadatsumi breathes in and expands his stomach, calling himself "Mega Monk", becoming even larger than before. Sanji asks if that had a point, saying the kraken is still bigger than him. This angers Wadatsumi and he expands even more, crushing everything within range. Sanji is still unimpressed, and Wadatsumi is about to expand again. The Minister of the Left and some soldiers approach the place where Neptune is resting.
The minister apologizes, saying they have let him down. Neptune mentions that if Noah hits the island, it would be just as it was written. The Minister of the Left tells Neptune about the evacuation and encourages the king to leave as well. Neptune says the orders are fine but he will stay and wait for the princes. At Gyoncorde Plaza , the Minister of the Right and more troops are surveying the battle from the perimeter of the plaza, confused as to why there are so many pirates.
Some bystanders get him up to speed about what happened before he arrived. The Minister of the Right orders the Neptune Army to back up the Straw Hat Pirates in the plaza, saying the country's honor would be shattered if they were backed up solely by a gang of pirates.
The arrival of the army does not intimidate the New Fish-Man Pirates at all. Hammond then arrives, riding something he calls his slave tank, essentially a large rickshaw with cannons, pulled by human slaves. One of the slaves falls over exhausted and Hammond just says to leave him. What is the truth..? He was a slave like Tiger? Nah, it's probably going to be something no one will manage to predict just like the way they're stopping Noah.
Admiral Kizaru One Piece Expert. Most obvious thing is that he's Fisher Tiger's son or something like that. The truth behind hody is that he is both fishman and half human.
Doc Q Active Member. Hody has a sad and probably shocking history. I'm sure he has blood connections to someone important or something. DarkRasengan Well-Known Member. He was a slave and his brother was killed in front of him by humans. Soca Kawaii as Fuck Super Moderator. I think I get it hody might actually be half human. His actions towards both races are pretty reckless and can't decide which one to hate more. Federer Active Member. He was a woman, but Ivankov turned him into a man and since Ivankov joined Luffy at the war, he has a grudge against him and the rest of the humans after what Ivankov did to him.
Makes perfect sense. HInch all-around bastard. Fisher Tiger's son seems the most logical. I'm going to go with the more hilarious, unlikely "used to be human. Teach Dio. FT's son seems pretty logical. Teach said:. I don't care how sympathetic his past makes him. He is what he is now, a dick. Got it memorized? By physical traits alone, they have similar hair, lips, jaws, and noses Even stated that while his mind knew better, his body just couldn't accept human blood.
Tiger also repeated talked about the "demons" in his heart, which was noted by even Orohime. So all in all, Tiger always had a tremendous hate for humans, but he held it deep within him for the sake of the future of Fishman Island, but even Orohime could tell he had this extreme hatred a minute ago. Ofcourse, all these traits were passed down to Hodi. And looking at this page: a minute ago Hodi's attention is drawn when talk of Tiger comes up, notably how he was influenced to make peace with humans.
Realizing even Tiger, his father, was influenced by Orohime, he plotted to get rid of her. By outing Orohime and framing a human, he can bring back the country's lack of faith in humanity.
