When is the winona peach festival 2017

Story continues below. There will be a few booth specials happening throughout the weekend as well. In addition to the special activities and attractions, the festival will feature all of the traditional favourites — arts and crafts, commercial vendors, a draw lottery, entertainment for all ages, the food court, midway and vintage car show — visitors from across the community and beyond have come to love over the years.

The plan is to close it at our general meeting in October, keep it at our peach hut and then open it up again as part of the 75th anniversary. The festival has been offering up fun for people of all ages since and is organized by a dedicated group of volunteers to help support 19 community churches, service clubs and sport organizations.

Each group is a registered charity or not-for-profit organization and uses the event as a fundraiser for its organization by offering food products and games. Funds raised help churches to support outreach programs, service clubs to tackle projects and sport organizations to keep registration costs down.
